Wakes Mod adds a simulation of waves after entities that travel fast enough. This includes boats, dolphins, and other swimming entities. The waves appear at the oars of the boat, and there are also splashes when the entity falls into the water.

The mod also has optional debug and appearance configs that can be accessed from the ModMenu menu. These configs allow you to customize the appearance of the waves, such as their size, shape, and color.
Wakes Mod is currently in early development, but it is already a great way to add realistic waves to the game. The mod is compatible with Iris shaders, and future versions will also support Optifine shaders.
