Arcane Lanterns Mod allows you to use the power of light to create special types of lanterns with various potion effects.
How To Craft Lanterns:
To use the mod, you will need to first craft a Lantern Maker.
Once you have a Lantern Maker, you can then place it down and start crafting your lanterns.
Catalysts:
The catalysts that you use will determine the effects of your lanterns. There are many different catalysts available, each with its own unique effect. For example, the Life Lantern uses eggs, bonemeal, melons, sugarcane, and golden apples as catalysts, and it will make crops around the lantern grow faster.
Here are some of the other Lanterns and their effects that you can create:
Feral Lantern: This lantern lights up a giant area around it by spawning sparks. When the area is lit up and enough sparks have been spawned, the lantern vanishes.
Love Lantern: This lantern makes nearby mobs fall in love.
Wailing Lantern: This lantern cries if you get close, and screams and applies nausea if you get even closer.
Boreal Lantern: This lantern slows nearby mobs and players down, and also extinguishes burning mobs.
Brilliant Lantern: This lantern turns nearby animals directly into experience.
Warding Lantern: This lantern pushes all living entities except players away.
Containment Lantern: This lantern keeps all living entities except the player confined to an area.
Withering Lantern: This lantern applies the wither effect in the area around it.
Cloud Lantern: This lantern applies the slow fall effect in the area around it.
