With The [Let’s Do] Candlelight Mod you can cook up delicious new meals, set a fancy table, and invite your friends over for a night of fine dining.
Mod Features:
–New food items: The Candlelight Mod adds a variety of new food items, including big meals, desserts, and drinks. You can cook these items in a frying pan or cooking pot, and you can even use potions to give them special effects.
–A new food system: Big meals cost a lot of resources, so you can now eat some of the new food items in different stages. This allows you to save food for later, or you can share it with your friends. There are also placeable plates that give additional bonuses to hunger and saturation when eaten from.
–Cooking with potions: Got some potions with awesome effects? Use them to cook meals and bring those effects to your food. For example, you can cook pork ribs with a potion of instant health to create pork ribs with the instant health effect.
–Typewriter and envelopes: The Candlelight Mod also adds a typewriter and envelopes, so you can write formal invitations to your next dinner party. You can even add a pink dye to the envelope if you’re sending it to someone special.
–New armor and vegetation: The Candlelight Mod also adds a new armor set and some new vegetation, including roses, strawberries, tomatoes, and broccoli.
How things work:
Cooking: The frying pan, cooking pot, and oven all have a built-in recipe book where you can find all related recipes. Most meals will need potions to cook. After cooking a meal that needs a potion as a crafting ingredient you’ll get the potion effect on your meal. For example, if you’re cooking pork ribs with a potion of instant health, you’ll get pork ribs with the instant health effect.
Table sets: Table sets are expandable by glasses and napkins. You can put food on a plate by right-clicking on the plate while holding food. Eating from a plate will give you additional hunger and saturation.
Typewriter and envelopes: To write an invitation, simply craft a typewriter and fill it with a notepaper. Then, right-click on the envelope with the invitation in your hand.
Armor: The new cook armor does nothing, but it looks great! There’s also a golden ring that will give you a special effect. You can store the ring in a Rolex-like jewelry box if you’re not using it.
World generation:
Roses and new crops will spawn in the world. Roses are quite similar to poppies, but they hurt when touching them. Various new crops can be found:
Tomatoes: Can be found in warm biomes
Broccoli: Can be found in temperate biomes
