Extra Gore Mod is a client-side mod that adds more blood and gore to Minecraft. This lightweight mod makes the experience much more real by adding blood particle effects when mobs and players take damage.
Particles:
The main feature of the mod is that it adds blood particles when mobs are hurt. Any time a mob, including modded mobs, takes damage, they will bleed. The blood particles sprayed out from where the mob was attacked. The amount and size of the blood particles are scaled based on how much health the mob lost. More damage results in larger and more copious blood spatter.
The same bleeding effect applies to players as well. When they take damage, blood will spray from their model. Again, the amount of blood is proportional to the damage taken. This makes combat feel much more impactful, especially during intense fights with lots of traded blows.
